- 3/4 lb. lasagna noodles
- 1 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (32-0z.) jars marinara
- 16 oz. whole milk ricotta
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 2 teaspoons chopped parsley, for garnish
- 1 large egg
- 2 lbs. shredded mozzarella
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- Salt & pepper, to taste

- Preheat oven to 375º. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain noodles in a collander. Drizzle olive oil to prevent noodles from sticking.

To keep lasagna from falling apart make sure that you layer it properly, avoid any excess moisture in your recipe, and then let it cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing into it. Letting the lasagna rest (uncovered) before cutting it will help avoid a sloppy mess.
